— suffix forming nouns
indicating state or condition: plenitude
 
at·ti·tude  [at-i-tood, -tyood] 
noun

manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency ororientation, especially of the mind: a negative attitude; group attitudes.

position or posture of the body appropriate to or expressive of an action, emotio案付n, etc.: athreatening attitude; a relaxed attitude.

Aeronautics . the inclination of the three principal axes of an aircraft relative to the wind, to theground, etc.

Ballet. a pose in which the dancer stands on one leg, the other bent behind.

grat·i·tude  [grat-i-tood, -tyood] 

noun

the quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful: He expressed his gratitude to everyone on the staff.

 is a word most famously used in Poetics,where it is usually translated as a mistake or error in judgment.

means extreme pride or self-confidence.
